Watch out where you tread

i remember like it was yesterday.

my dad pounding his fist on the kitchen table and gritting his teeth as he tells me to get out!

he kicked me out of his house.

LTPF - your words will touch many people's hearts and perhaps help them reconsider how to deal with the burning disappointment/anger/frustration and even hatred of the G.B and its corporate masters, which many feel after learning TTATT.

It's only natural to want to shout it from the rooftops and to share everything we've learned with all of our dear friends and relatives in "the truth," but the org's indoctrination and fear tactics work very effectively at closing eyes, hearts, minds, and ears.

From personal experience, I can only recommend a softly-softly strategy which requires asking questions - rather than bludgeoning people with blunt truths. After several years, I'm still using this method on zealous J.W.'s I know. They're now awakened to so much, but only they can decide how to respond to the TTATT.

Advice on family waking up to TTATT

if you've been following my posts here, i am physically in and mentally out.

it's so hard because i wish that my family could wake up just as easily as i did.

the other day i had a conversation with a relative regarding whether they have come to terms with their own mortality and they replied that they try not to think about it too much but also said that it's possible that armageddon would even happen long after they are gone, which i thought was a very interesting thought.. maybe it's just me, but i feel like what made me wake up easily was that i've always had little doubts here and there but this was stuff like me being unable to grasp the concept of how one could be anointed and how would you know if you were.

Ignorance is bliss. Let them come to terms with their choice of Christianity. You never know, they're still young enough to awaken and discover TTATT. At the moment, they need the org's "system of things."

I had limited (personal) dealings with the home in Cumbria, north-east England several years ago.

It's separated from the local KH by a private gate, through which the paying residents are escorted to attend the meetings.

On my first visit, I was immediately struck by the internal drabness and run-down condition of the place, and how the RBC could have performed a good charitable work by renovating it. Definitely not a place I'd consign a loved one to.

1 hour 14 minute ph call from coordinator last night ?

i didn't recognise his number , cordial talk for 2 minutes then what can i say , the chook rose to the occasion.

i will relay main points but the order is not necessarily correct.

he wants to visit with an other elder ( i live in two states 2/3 of time in a new house in their territory, but they don't know address yet ).

You stated your case loud and clear to them, and if it's energized you - brilliant!

The bottom line is however, that anyone who opens their mouth to elders are wasting their breath! Elders neither hear nor want to hear what faders/apostates have to say. It's the nature of the beast which they represent. If the elder didn't record the conversation this time, you can bet your bottom dollar he'll be prepared to do so if he calls again. You're now in his cross-hairs.

If you want peace and quiet from them, just tell them you've nothing to discuss with them at present, but you know where to get them if you change your mind.

I wish you the very best as you deal with the circling wolves.

"Only Witnesses demonstrate Christian Love"

so a couple of nights ago i was speaking with a relative and we began talking about the organization.

i had to asked her "why do you believe that this religion is the correct one?

" they stood quiet for a second but then said that they view and feel genuine christian love, a type of love that is spoken about in the bible.

Fact #1 - When I became a J.W., not one of my "worldly" friends or associates abandoned or ridiculed me.

Fact #2 - In all my years as a J.W., the only persecution I experienced was from different B.O.E.'s.

Of all J.W.'s I've ever known, elders stand out as being the most corrupt and un-Christian people I've had the misfortune to know. They were nothing more than puffed-up little tyrants who were legends in their own minds.

in retrospect: RBCs vs LDCs / the hype about a lot of new construction and subsequent abrupt halt to construction

so, now that some time has passed, i’d like some input/thoughts/analysis/etc.

on the jw construction situation in the last few years.. first, why did they discontinue the rbc arrangement and institute the ldc arrangement?

was it for more and/or better control?

All of the above!

The LDC (IMO) was created as a new but crucial hierarchical entity which would rigorously enact & enforce all aspects of the draconian changes concerning KH ownership, maintenance, and consolidation & amalgamation.

The org's hit-men in the LDC can now do what they like with any KH, and no congregation can stand up to them.

The vice has been fully tightened, and the B.O.E.'s know it!

This might be my last post

so my aunt hates pcs but works in a office job and uses a pc to do work she has worked there for 23 years she taking me and my brothers laptops etc and she said i have to earn it doing jw things studying listening at meetings etc.. so if it is the last time i post hear i thank you all for you have told me i wish the all of you the best life you can have.i will try to post hear this will start when im in school..

I wish I had not gone to the meeting last night

the first thing i saw when i went in was the two video screens having the watchtower singers chorus doing a number.

the sound wasn't up enough to make out the song, but the video was grotesque.

the singers were swaying to the music, all independent of each other, no discipline, actually sloppy-looking.
